High on a hilltop near Cortona on the eastern edge of Tuscany, Villa Il Colle is a recently restored farmhouse with marvellous panoramic views of the Niccone Valley and the distant mountains of Umbria.

Villa Il Colle has been restored, according the Tuscany stylish, in the last two year so every things is new inside.

It is shared in two floor:

-on the ground floor there is a big living /dining room with a beautiful fireplace , a sofa and armchairs and enough space to eat for more then 20 people, a fully equipped kitchen(dishwasher).

-On the same floor there are also two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, and one bathroom.

Upstairs there are others two bedrooms, 1 double beds the other 2 single beds, and another bathroom.

Villa Il Colle is equipped with: - kitchen with 4 - 6 burner stove with oven - dishwasher - freezer - refrigerator - toaster oven - American coffee machine - TV - CD and Stereo player. - washing machine - iron and iron board - clothes lines. In the garden there is outdoor pizza and roast oven wood-burning stove , BBQ and plenty of lawn furniture. A bottle of wine, water and some fruits are the gift for you arrive in each apartments. Services Offered We have available to our guests upon request: on site cook service for dinner. The house is completely cleaned with fresh towels, soap, bed linens and basic supplies. Additional maid service during the week can be arranged at a minimal cost. Additional services, such as private tours, dinners, wine or olive oil tasting, etc., can be pre arranged at the time of booking.

Cortona, just 20 minutes away, is a medieval 'hill town' above the Valdichiana in eastern Tuscany. It offers the best of traditional Tuscan lifestyle in a rural country setting and the conveniences of a small city.

This classic Etruscan hill town lies between Lago Trasimeno and the Appenine mountains. It is rich in archaeological wonders from the Etruscan, Medieval, Roman and Renaissance eras. During the summer, Cortona hosts numerous activities including festivals, art exhibitions, antique markets, and a number of gastronomic fairs.

If the tranquillity and beauty of the surrounding area isn't enough, Villa Il Colle is a perfect base camp from which to explore Tuscany and Umbria. Lake Trasimeno - Italy's 4th largest - is only 20 minutes away with excellent swimming and water sports. The railway station is a similar distance - once on a train you can be in Florence in an hour or in Rome in two.

The nearest village is Mercatale di Cortona, with facilities including shops, bars, medical facilities, a restaurant and bank.
