India Vacation Rentals

An India vacation means you can spend your days surrounded by gorgeous beaches, historic temples, and stunning landscapes. Of course most people’s first stop is the famous Taj Mahal in Agra, but there is so much more to see and do on your India vacation. From the beaches of Goa to the Karnataka waterfalls, India can provide whatever kind of vacation rental experience you are looking for!

To see some of India’s most famous temples, start your India vacation in Amritsar to see the glittering Golden Temple. Formally called Harmandir Sahib, this temple is the most important temple and sacred place for Sikhs. Or travel to Delhi to see the Baha’i Temple. This temple is also known as the Lotus Temple and has won several architectural awards for its stunning physical beauty. Or had over to Bihar to visit the Vishnupad Mandir. This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is over 220 years old!

But India has plenty of natural wonders as well. Start out by visiting Karnataka – this state is home to some pretty famous waterfalls named Jog Falls. Jog Falls fall from a height of 829 feet and are the highest plunge waterfalls in India. While you’re in Karnataka, be sure and visit one of the area’s 21 wildlife sanctuaries or five National Parks!

Or maybe you’d like to spend your India vacation in Assam. This state is growing increasingly popular for wildlife tourism and ecotourism due to Kaziranga National Park and Manas National Park. These two parks are home to such rare species as the Pygmy Hog, Golden Langur, and the Great One-Horned Rhinoceros. With all the different flora and fauna to check out, it’s no wonder that these parks have both been named UNESCO World Heritage Sites!

So whether you’re visiting Kolkata ("The City of Palaces") and its many enormous mansions, or Uttaranchal and its gorgeous, snowy mountains; whether you’re standing among the level waters of the Indian Ocean or on the highest peak of the Himalayas, you will be glad that you chose to take an India vacation.
