Head on over to the neighboring Okaloosa Island and walk the island’s oceanfront Boardwalk for some food, tanning, and prime people-watching. Whether you enjoy going kiteboarding, parasailing, sea kayaking, or just kicking back and relaxing on the soft sands, there are so many things to do in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Or, if you like your beach a little less crowded, head a few feet down the road to John Beasley Park for a more secluded Emerald Coast experience.

Once you’ve felt the sand between your toes, check out some of Fort Walton Beach’s more unique activities. Rent a pontoon boat, gather up your friends and family, and head on out to Crab Island.
